About the program Directors

 

 

 

 

Your lead instructor, Whitney Minnis, has more than 15 years sports and health training experience. He draws from his experiences as a former professional athlete (soccer) and from his experiences working with athletes and non-athletes of alike.

Whitney  is highly qualified as an exercise instructor.  He is certified as a boot camp instructor by the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). Whitney holds other training certifications including personal training certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA).  

Whitney was trained by the boot camp guru, Dr. John Spencer Ellis, as a bootcamp instructor under NESTA.  Whitney is also a licensed coach with USA Track and Field (USATF), and holds a professional grade coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF National “B”), the national federation that governs soccer in the United States. The “National B” is the second highest license issued in the United States.  Whitney also works as Technical Director to Soccer on the Hill.

 

 

 

 

Dr. John Spencer Ellis, often referred to in the industry of health and fitness as an exercise guru, is a technical advisor to the ABC camp of Washington, DC. Your camp instructor, Whitney Minnis, was personally instructed by Dr. Ellis and his staff on running and operating an ABC camp to get the results clients desire. Dr. Ellis founded the first ABC boot camp in Orange County California and continues to run and operate his camps today.
